Abstract

This paper proposes to deploy throughout its pages the problem that arises from the double meaning of the word "history", which is used both to refer to the facts themselves that occurred in the past as to their approach through research. For this, will be an opposition between the Hegelian conception, which places the reason as the crossing point between the course of the facts and its study, and the various theoretical currents that pose a different concept of history. In this sense, picking up to the Greek god Kairos, there will be exhibited the way in which various authors agree on the importance of devising a historical dimension that opens to opportunity and change, whose features can only be captured by the qualities of art.
