La deriva del asilo en la Unión Europea

Resumen
Este escrito tiene el objetivo de analizar, desde una perspectiva sociológica, las principales transformaciones que se han planteado en torno al asilo y refugio en la Unión Europea en la última década. Partiendo de un recorrido analítico que ha acompañado esta última década, se profundiza en la dinámica global en la que se inscriben los cambios recogidos en el Pacto Europeo sobre Migración y Asilo. Iniciando el recorrido en una breve contextualización del desplazamiento forzado transfronterizo, se profundiza a continuación en un análisis del asilo como proceso mediante el cual se espera el reconocimiento de una protección internacional, con el impacto legal y subjetivo que ello trae consigo.
Seguidamente se plantea la tercerización de la protección como propuesta que desliga responsabilidades y profundiza estructuras coloniales de poder reforzadas por medio de la gestión migratoria. Finalmente se recapitula sobre el proceso de desgaste del refugio para plantear la necesidad de nuevos enfoques sobre la protección que permitan hacer frente a los nuevos contextos de desprotección.
