Abstract

From some time till now, it is very common to read phrases like "crisis of future and crisis of politics", "crisis of the promising future" or "crisis of projectability" in everywhere. The idea that I try to defend in this article is that the process of "globalization" has put in question certain dimensions of the nation state. The questioned dimensions are those which had transformed the nation state in the political "place" which was necessary to foresee an optimistic future. The tension between a national space of experience and a global horizon of expectation —which was never been surmounted— would have made possible a pessimistic view of the future.
