Abstract

Recovered companies do not have a theoretical-practical guide on how to take forward self-management. The article aims to describe and analyze the innovations produced in the management of work in recovered companies in current Argentina. The approach is qualitative, twenty recovered companies from all over the country were studied through semi-structured interviews in the different periods of 2017/2018 and 2022/2023. Innovative devices were found in what concerns participatory planning, the incorporation of committed associates with the project, the organizational development, the internal hierarchies, the distribution of surpluses, the promotion of health, and the restitution of the labour rights that imply systematization policies and ordering of the management of the cooperative. The innovations emerge in practice, propose to balance the dual character of the cooperative, and configure the outline of an alternative model of management of associated work.
