The sustainable city is product of the construction of innovative urban entities that make use of creativity, tolerance, and knowledge as main keys of their emergence and consolidation. In these types of cities we can find the combination of knowledge communities, successful R & D policies, excellent educational centers, innovative cultures, and a solid incorporation to knowledge global networks.
