Abstract

This project takes as departure a reflection on the Body and the Object: the relationships that individuals develop with objects, how they become attached to them, and how these objects and relationships may render into Memories and Waste. The tangible physical interface —inspired in the Objects Theater— spreads its tangible components through the whole space of the installation: it configures a network of tangible and digital bits whose narrative climbs up from the floor to reach the ceiling, creating a visual and sonorous environment whose counter part is the analog and digital dimension of our Body, Memory and Waste.

Users have to figure out how to create their own stories —a private/public cartography—, establishing connections (synapses) between a chaos of objects, signs, words and maps connected with wires (our neurons?), that compose a social environment.
