Mujeres de la élite en el siglo xix: familia y bufete de Germán Gamazo

Abstract

German Gamazo was a successful lawyer and a politician critical of the last decades of the nineteenth century. Creator of a complex family and social networks, we found around it to multiple women from different areas made that success possible. From the family, his two wives and his sister create new family ties, professional and politicians. From the professional level, are widows and religious in his own name may sue independently and he come to resolve issues that highlight the situation of helplessness that was always a woman without the supervision of a husband or father recognized.
