British Military Planning on Long Haul European Neutrals (1939-1945)

Abstract
This article makes a comparative analysis about British military plans to intervene in the European countries that kept themselves away from Second World War. The main British primary sources come from The National Archives. Among the conclusions it is to be noted the balance of benefits and objections about these neutrals’ belligerence, and the specificity of Spain, since she was the only one that tried to go into the war by the Axis side.
