Abstract

In this article we analyse the O'Donnell Uprising of October 1841 in Navarre. Following the account of the events, we look at who were the protagonists using hitherto unpublished information. We also attempt to show the connection between the offer by the rebels to re-establish the statutory privileges to Navarre and the theorizations of different authors, both carlists and moderate liberals.
