Abstract

This article analyzes the organs responsible for the supervision and control of the propaganda and foreign press during the years of the Second World War. In the Nazi Germany this task was responsability of Reichminister für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda, headed by Goebbels. Likewise, in Spain there had been constituted, after the crisis of May, 1941, the Vicesecretaría de Educación Popular, the hispanic equivalent to the Department German of Propaganda. In both rate, the conception of the press, both native and foreigner, was coming out purely informative area, since it was understood as an instrument of popular education.
