Abstract
Gregorio Marañón had an outstanding activity as a medical scientist, clinician and pathologist, and their relationship with History, which devoted much attention, it can be considered under three different aspects: as a historian, and performer in the History of Spain and as participate and witness in the vicissitudes of time in which he lived. His historiographical concept is based on the integrity of life and history, and his best historiographical genre is the biography.
