Abstract
This essay aims to apply the Sattelzeit category to the Spanish modernity, situated at the onset of the constitutional period inaugurated by the Parliament at Cadiz in 1812. It concludes that a history of the Spanish political concepts should explain the lack of proportionality among factors and indices characteristic of that vocabulary.
