Abstract

In this essay, new associative forms and new ways of social communication appeared in Rio de la Plata's society at the first half of nineteenth century are analysed. Yet, the narrow relation between the word of incipient political press and a new public sphere emergence are also examined. The autor emphasizes that, far from responding to fixed objetives by own promoters of these pratices, whose point of view was a way for «opinions standardization», its development led up to create formulation spaces of particular interests found now in the figure of «public opinion» as a valuable way for their defense.
