Abstract
In this article it is tried to demonstrate that the irregular or clandestine emigration had a central importance within the phenomenon of the registered outer emigration during pro-Franco Spain, from second half of the Fifties to the crisis of I refuel in 1973. This way, the mechanisms are analyzed that gave rise to the attended or regular emigration. Next one reviews the emigration conducted to the margin of those official channels, as well as the criminal figures associated. Also an approach to the volume of that type of emigration takes place and some of the affected groups more consider. Finally some consequences of the irregular emigration are mentioned and the failure of the regime in its fight is stated to eliminate it.
