Urban Historical and Geographical Studies in Spain: Evaluation and situation off the matter

Abstract
The relationship between Geography and History related to the study of spanish cities, has substantially varied in the last half century. In the classical works a temporary perspective was used but nowadays the cities geography tends to give priority to the analysis of current processes. So the investigations about the urban past are a minority trend, although they'll strengthen within a moment in which this discipline needs to assert its own identity.
