Abstract
Over the lars decades of the XIX, urban propertyowners united to defense their interests. Abore all, they demanded that tax on property be reduced over these peak years. Only 3 out of 10 house owners participated in these unions and the majority still remained with the financial elte who had chanelled some of their invesment into the property market, and furthermore, converted itsef into the leading group of these property defense corporations.
