Despullant en Carles Belda

Abstract

One of the most acclaimed accordionists of the Catalonian regions is Carles Belda, whose achievements are partly due to the influence of the Basque Country. The Basque trikitixa is a key element in his musical career, a career which deserves special attention due to the ideology underpinning it: a firm political commitment to a shining future for the Catalonian regions, and a music based on self-management which combines tradition with modernity in order to touch the hearts of all who hear it.
