Abstract

Vitoria Fine Arts Academy was a key institution to understand development of the artistic and craft world in Vitoria during 19th century. Although it was an institution essentially dedicated to formation, its governing board constantly promoted initiatives aimed to achieve a primary objective, the promotion and encouragement of industry in Vitoria.
