Abstract
The emergence of a new generation of television of film characteristics, which generates large amount of critical literature, is one of the audiovisual phenomena of greater impact of the new century. Among them three U.S. productions such as The Sopranos, The Wire and Mad Men, constitute the paradigm of a new type of narrative fiction, at the height of the great literary and film productions of western history.
