Abstract
This essay is a staight application of gender´s perspective and the methodology for the study of Freemasonic aesthetic into one of the most important Spanish Masonic heritage, the Mausoleum of La Quinta Roja (1882), created by the matronage of the Marquise of Quinta Roja, Sebastiana del Castillo Manrique de Lara. Through new documents and bibliography, it´s known the importance of the women in contemporany funerary architecture, in this case in megalomania and utopian conditions, with ideology and freemasonic aesthetics which involves Masonic studies and Art History.
