Abstract
This article talks about the liberality of organbuilding. It's based on an unpublished lawsuit in which both the guild of Saint Joseph and Saint Thomas of Pampelune (Kingdom of Navarre), integrated by builders and woodworkers, and two masters organbuilders, who were working in that city without having taken an exam, took part. During the trial, not only the most important local masters (organbuilders, carpenters, assemblers and architects) gave their opinions, but also the prominent ones in other faculties testified, offering interesting statements about organbuilding and its development in other parts of Spain, like Aragón, Castilla or the King's court.
