Abstract
In Europe, relationship law is currently in a new stage of its historical evolution, driven by a new approach which seeks to implement it in such a way as to protect and develop fundamental rights. We cannot ignore the fact that relationship law is predominantly an institution to protect children. Even so, their rights have to be combined with those of the other people with a legitimate interest in exercising the rights of parentage.
