La posición jurídica de la mujer en la transmisión del baserri: análisis de los casos de Bergara y Zestoa

Abstract

The study analyzes notarial documents granted during a certain period in Bergara and Zestoa, together with interviews to women baserritarras, to show the relevance that the woman occupied in the transmission of the baserri and in the adoption of family decisions. The conclusions will allow us to know and accredit their true legal position in the family and at the moment of transmitting the family patrimony, which will contribute to continue deepening and taking initiatives in equality and respect in today’s society.
