Abstract
This paper reflects upon the evolution of relations between the communities of the Northern and Southern Basque Country from 1975 to 2025. It highlights the importance of the decisions of individuals who championed political/governmental, cultural, educational, and economical collaboration among institutions to overcome historical and political differences. The need for joint projects and institutional support to strengthen ties and build a cohesive and prosperous future for both
