Abstract
The amnesty was one of the main goals of the politic opposition to the Dictature during the Spanish Transition. The cabinet of Adolfo Suárez granted twoamnesties in 1976 and 1977 that lowered the number of political prisoners in the span- ish prisons. In this essay we want to focus in other two amnesties that have been darkened during this period: The extrañamientos of basque prisonerers and the amnesty proposal for social prisoners.
