Abstract
This article is interested in the employment policies in France. The relative failure of the policies directed to certain groups, since they have not managed to contain the development of the underemployment, has driven the public power to favour the structural action from the 1990's. More effective but also more questioned, the employment policies must be renewed to face the economic crisis. In fact, in spite of the enrichment of the growth in employment, the employment policies have known a few failures and must face to the challenge that represents the increase of the unemployment as consequence of the financial crisis that has turned into economic and social crisis.
