Abstract
In the light of the current crisis situation, the author proposes to recover the classical meaning of "crisis", i.e. to view this conjuncture as a time of movement, enlightenment, exploration and new creation on all levels; cultural, political, social, religious and so on. Ethics are taken as the fundamental basis for these changes. A body of ethics seen through the eyes of people who find themselves excluded, as a collective task aiming at building an inclusive society. To go more deeply into these key points the author invites the reader to embark on a journey in several stages. The first is one where ethics are built around personal and group courage in the face of situations of extreme existential seriousness. In the second stage, ethics as political sensitivity, deployed in the conquest of rights in the name of dignity. The third stage calls for an inclusive society which incorporates public virtues and shared responsibility.
