Abstract
Despite their short existence in the authors' context, insertion companies have stood out as an important resource in the process of helping people in circumstances of or at risk of social exclusion to enter the labour market. Aimed at helping them to enter the ordinary market, they offer ongoing support with a view to improving people's employability. In order to construct a theoretical frame of reference, identify the processes involved and support tools, a prolonged experiment has been carried on involving cooperative research by the university and the Gizatea support group.
