Abstract
The centrality of transnational corporations in the new system of multiple domination makes these corporations key players that must be confronted by the social movements trying to dispute their power. In this struggle social movements, as agents of collective emancipation, have a series of potentialities but also limits of which it is worth being aware so as to be able to strengthen them, overcome contradictions and be capable of attacking the different dimensions of the power of the transnationals, at the same time building alternatives within the logic of processes of transition.
