Abstract

In this article, the concept of companies' social responsibility is analysed in-depth, by means of studying the entities that foster and support this strategy. The article takes stock of this subject and looks at the impact that CSR has on international and national instruments (sector and interprofessional) and legislation (labour rights and social rights), along with the future of those legislative and contractual rights and the contents of the social policies. After the two first sections, where this subject and one of its manifestations (codes of conduct) are considered, the current situation is described and finally, the paper concludes with a few lines of actions and several recommendations.
