Abstract
During these last four years since the previous congress, some of the aspects pointed at in «La inmigración también en Euskal Herria» (Immigration also in the Basque Country), annexed to the paper entitled Retrato de nuestra sistema educativo (A Portrait of our Education System), have just turned out to be much more marked. The theoretical approaches given at that time are gaining more power, due to the fact that foreign immigration is becoming more and more common in our society. Just take a walk through the cities and towns of the Basque Country, and you will realise that there are more and more people from other countries. Apparently, the situation won't change in the following years, taking into account the features of present migration processes.
