Abstract

The context of psychosocial risks and moral harassment lies in the current business strategies of work organisation, whose most important characteristics are: lack of definition, which increases the possibilities of abuses of power; variability concerning work content and conditions, and flexibility which has caused the emergence of poor working conditions. With consequences for the worker, the organization, the family and social nucleus and for the community, Comisiones Obreras (a Spanish trade union) is carrying out a series of preventive proposals, based on a study performed on 150 cases of moral harassment.
