Abstract
In April 2001, the Labour Relations University School in Leioa hosted the first Jornada sobre cuestiones de actualidad del Derecho del Trabajo y de la Seguridad Social (Conference on current questions of the right to work and social security), on the subject of the regulatory reforms either already carried out or pending implementation with respect to regulations regarding the status of foreigners, the job market, the agreement reached by the Government and the Comisiones Obreras Union (CC.OO) regarding pensions and the public employment service. The review of the Conference comprises the papers relating to the first three subjects mentioned, while the paper on the Public Employment Service is reproduced in this issue of Lan Harremanak.
