Resumen
Este artículo compara cómo las unidades léxicas creadas en el discurso catalán, y relacionadas con las aspiraciones independentistas, son reproducidas por Euronews en español, inglés, alemán y francés y cómo cambia su función de construcción identitaria discursiva tras la traducción (transediting). Con base al enfoque histórico-discursivo, pudimos detectar tres estrategias principales de construcción identitaria discursiva (autonomización, legitimación y unificación) en los 37 artículos seleccionados entre 2015-2021, que se producen debido a las discrepancias en la terminología y diferentes conocimientos previos en la cultura de llegada, junto con la necesidad de cumplir con el formato y el registro periodístico.
