Abstract
The book Aesthetics and Narratives in Audiovisual Media, written in English, offers a comprehensive overview of both aspects (aesthetics and narrative) in the context of contemporary audiovisual media. The work also serves as a research and teaching resource for students and professionals in the audiovisual industry. In this sense, the author addresses both students who are delving into the intricacies of audiovisual language for the first time and professionals who wish to deepen their understanding of the theoretical dimension of their craft. Throughout its seven chapters, the work connects theory (from a diachronic approach to the present day) and practice, with examples and references that allow for an understanding of the technical and creative processes related to the topics covered.
