Abstract

This paper analyzes the history of the never again report elaborated by the National Commission on disappeared People created in 1983 in Argentina to investigate the destiny of the disappeared. Never again is the most important text on this topic; it's was used in the judgment of the military Juntas; to transmit the past to the new generations and constituted a model of the reports of the "Truth Commissions" created in the Latin American  countries. Because his canonical condition this history also shows the  politics of memory on the disappearances after the return of the democracy in Argentina.
