Abstract
Catalina Erauso, a historical character known as “the lieutenant nun”, has been depicted in various ways, depending on whom and for what purpose they depicted them. Therefore, after summarizing the approaches to this figure, I propose to examine the speeches and representations of three art exhibitions held in London 2021, Barcelona 2021 and Bilbao 2022. So, to realize that transfeminist and decolonial views have been leaving a mark on their symbolization in recent years. And thus to conclude the importance of recreating historical and cultural myths with their lights and shadows.
