Abstract
In the context of the “welfare society”, the States are required to provide different, effective and convenient alternatives to allow their citizens to obtain the right to retire. Furthermore, in terms of competitiveness and according to the “knowledge economy”, professional skills have become a strategic asset for both States and companies. With that in mind, this paper contains an analysis of the Spanish regulation on part-time retirement and the relief contract.
Regarding these institutions, it has been argued their purposes and their economic viability and usefulness as an appropriate formula to share labor and digital skills bidirectionally.
