Abstract
This article aims at analysing the working inequalities between men and women within the Basque Autonomous Community and its evolution during the last two decades. As we will see, the labour market has now a more feminine quality, due to the increase in women's working activity and employment. We will also be explained the way in which unemployment and working precariousness affect women, as well as the differences in wages. All throughout the article, the European context will be taken much into account.
