Abstract
To avoid the excessive judicialization of labour relations and the disturbing number of victims of moral harassment at work, it is necessary to establish preventive measures. The prevention Services, helped by the trade unions and the work inspectorate, should be the main protagonists in the prevention of harassment. But the reality in our Country is quite different; while in other countries the role of work doctors is fundamental, although it can be improved, as politicians, legislators and experts have recognised, in Spain they do not have sufficient measures to guarantee their professional independence, and therefore are not able, or do not want, to get involved. To achieve the efficiency of our Prevention Services, both our own and those of others, we must first protect them and then demand that they assume their responsibilities.
