Abstract
Gender-based violence in its two manifestations —sexual harassment and sexism— constitute complex phenomena whose complete understanding in legal terms encounters a major difficulty. From the point of view of how to commit and avoid this blot on society, regulations governing risks at work are generally applicable to these phenomena to the extent that the businessperson is duty bound to establish preventive measures against gender-based violence. Consequently, the prevention of this type of violence at work is going to be studied over the following pages, in particular via the role that needs to be played in this respect by social interlocutors.
