Abstract

Through this reflection, an attempt will be made to present an approximation of the legislative standard, as well as its evolution in the Basque Country regarding the Special Education standard, whose starting point is found in the educational policies which emerged from the Standardisation principle. As it is possible to observe in the evolution of the different laws, the Basque Country Autonomous Community, at some moments, has been ahead of the approaches, standards and resolutions transmitted by Central Government and in others it has evolved the specific orders which were sent from Central Government to the Basque Country Autonomous Community in parallel.
