Abstract
The objective of this article is to offer a theoretical and practical reflection about a subject which has not been widely considered in the scientific literature and more specifically in the manuals of Educational Investigation. Firstly, the problems related to the concept of the Project of Investigation itself are presented to be followed by a description of the most important elements of the same. There follows a presentation of different types of projects of investigation based on different methods of investigation. The rules of presentation of the projects and their evaluation comprise a group of practice rules which can be of great help in carrying out the same. Lastly, an outline of what could be a project of investigation designed to overcome the differences existing between different projects, based on the investigation methodology applied, is presented.
