Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify the perceptions, attitudes, and behaviours associated to the participation of teenagers is the social media. The article examines the influence of social networks in promoting collective social actions by youngsters, what kind of participation has this group in social media as a source of global information, which kind of behaviours they develop —or how they're impacted— that foster a higher participation in actions of solidarity and association activities offline, as well as which social relationships are born or developed through the social networks.
