Abstract

Based on acculturation analysis, the present study aims to examine civic awareness of water environment as effects incited by exposure to accumulative media contents. A split ballot survey with questionnaire designed for the purpose of this study was conducted with 230 university students as respondents, who were recruited in different areas in Spanish territory with different weather conditions. Outcomes show that the intensity of exposure to different media content contributes to different degree of influence on citizens' perception, knowledge, and attitudes to issues related to environment and water policies in Spain.
