Abstract

It is usual, when referring to the progress of audiovisual technology, to use the analogical to digital change as the main line of thinking. It has been several years since this happened. Even if it is not a significant time when we talk about other issues, in the field of digital broadcasting it is wide enough, since there have been significant changes both in the conception of the professional audiovisual and the popular domestic version. The main goal is to review what those innovations are and how they have been rebounding in recent years in the different tasks of the production process of audiovisual content: image capture, editing and message postproduction, and broadcasting the final product.
