Abstract

The aim of this article is to show the narrative and aesthetic resources of the underground comic used by El Víbora Magazine in order to go into massive public debate from the periphery in Spain during transition. To do that, we have analyzed a special issue edited for the Military Coup in February 23rd 1981. Analysis shows that El Víbora came into the Spanish Central Public Sphere using a discourse that combines elements from the alternative Left with Counter-Culture elements.
