Abstract
The weight of the television service within the triple play (Internet, telephone, television) offer of cable telecommunication operators in Spain is one of the pillars of market communicological analysis, in the context of the market trends toward digital convergence and the emergence of new Internet audiovisual contents. The analysis of statistical data provided by cable operators reflects, except for TeleCable, that the television service in Spain is far from the reality of other European countries, where the television content is a solid leader.
