Abstract

The design of a model of university institutional website application, with specific categories, properties and evolutionary phases, served as a unit of measurement for observing 64 websites of communication faculties in Latin America. Finally, 10 websites were chosen for detailed analysis, following the guidelines of the model that had been designed. The results indicate that less than a dozen websites are in a state to be considered efficient products of communication and management.
