Abstract
The expressive use of the voice supposes an exigency for public people, like the politicians, depend on the effectiveness in the transmission of their messages. For that reason, this study makes a comparative analysis between the voices of two of the most representative politicians of the Spanish life: the president of the government, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, and the leader of the opposition, Mariano Rajoy. The investigation is centered in characterizing its style of presentation analyzing of objective form the vocal qualities and the expressive resources that they use. Of this form, as a conclusion, the main defects and virtues of both politicians are extracted.
